Real Estate development, both new as well as redevelopment, is one process of creation that provides a new definition to the space. At Ranade Realtors, we believe in giving it the shape, dimension and definition that would not just match to the expectations of the residents but enhance their living experience. In doing so we strive to understand deeper nuances of the space, choices of the residents, building design, cost of ownership factor, ease of maintenance and most importantly - practicality over the fanciful!

The Legacy

Well over a century ago, when India was lacking infrastructure but very few had expertise in construction, Vishnu. R. Ranade broke the conventional professional barriers by stepping into infrastructure development. Thus, Ranade brand was flagged in the construction sector.

Showing great visionary approach, he built important structures including bridges, dams, roads, railway lines, etc. across India and abroad. Among the reputed projects which got shaped at the hands of V. R. Ranade& Sons is the classic building of the original Pune Railway Station.

Eventually, next generation of the Ranades headed by Shashank Ranade began residential and commercial property development in Pune. Soon the brand became close to the heart of thousands of people who currently reside or work out of space created by Ranades.

Passion for well-managed projects, perfectly planned quality creation, with an eye-for-detail and customer satisfaction runs in the DNA of Ranade family. Currently, Kedar Ranade is responsibly carrying forward the tradition while bringing in his international work experience. He is ably driving the idea of Practical Homes and expanding horizons of the group.

A veteran in construction business with 40 years in the profession, he has delivered several complex infrastructure construction projects across India and in the Middle East. He started the real estate division of Ranade Group in 1984 and has since successfully completed several projects in and around Pune. Shashank Ranade remains the guiding mentor and a key decision maker for Ranade Realtors and his vast experience and tremendous goodwill propels Ranade Realtors towards achieving new highs.

B.E. Civil (C.O.E.P) & M.S – Clemson University, USA

Apart from being a core team member in building the world’s largest cement plant, Kedar gained rich experience working on large institutional, infrastructure, industrial projects for one of USA's leading construction companies. He returned to join his father's business in Pune bringing international professionalism and a vision to drive it to the next level. He leads from the front while deftly managing complete operations of Ranade Realtors.

MBA - Marketing PG in Financial Management(UK)

He heads the sales and marketing function at Ranade Realtors besides being actively involved in identifying and liasing with potential investors and patrons. Having worked at leading multinationals, his experience is multi-faceted including real estate, banking and finance. Interestingly, Kapil has played first class cricket and has captained the Maharashtra state team.
